Jingshan Mountains, the birthplace of matcha
Our matcha comes from the Jingshan Mountains, in China's Zhejiang province, the historical origin of matcha tea. From there, it traveled to Japan in the 12th century to become the heart of the tea ceremony. Today, its slopes of constant fog and mineral soils continue to produce exceptionally green leaves, shade-grown to concentrate L-theanine, chlorophyll, and natural sweetness.

How to prepare
Dose (concentrated matcha)
- Mild: 1g + 225-300 ml of water at 70-80 °C
- Traditional: 2g + 450-600 ml of water at 70-80 °C
Sift, whisk with 60-70 ml in a zigzag motion until foamy, then add the rest. The included spoon measures an exact 2g.
What is the spoon for
18/10 stainless steel, measures an exact 2g (the ceremonial dose). Dishwasher safe and long-lasting.
Storage
Sealed container, in a cool, dry, dark place. The refrigerator is fine if it's airtight. Maintains color, aroma, and antioxidants for months.

1st harvest (shincha): spring leaves, the youngest and richest in L-theanine and chlorophyll. 1st grade: the superior quality within that harvest.
How many cups does the pack make?
Between 100 (at 2g, traditional cup) and 200 (at 1g, mild cup). For daily use, the pack lasts 4-6 months.
Does it contain a lot of caffeine?
According to datasheet MZ-FT-MAT-CER-001, around 3.2 g of caffeine per 100 g of product: about 32 mg in a mild 1 g cup and around 64 mg in a traditional 2 g cup. Total L-theanine is 1.2%.
